Perhaps time to shut down OEL if he is not 100% and his knee needs further attention. Let's not challenge the Gods anymore.
4 points out of a playoff spot and we haven't seen the post-season in 6 years......we're in it, and should fight to stay in it, until we're 10 points out. A playoff spot probably means more for Arizona than any other team in the WC.So we have 9 players on or going on IR, not including Bolland and Hossa... We have like $46 million in cap hits on our NHL roster. If we make any short term moves, we are idiots. The only move we should make should be made to advance our roster next season. Our injury luck this year has been brutal!

At that point I agree, but keep fighting without impacting the future....it maybe worth keeping Panik around if some of the injured don't return. The worst team in the west is only 5 pts out. What a wacky season. If we have another 5 game losing streak put a fork in us...we're done.
Every shift of Gordon's time in Arizona seemingly ended the same way....with Boyd hobbling to bench after blocking a shot. Loved Boyd Gordon! This whole season has been like that one shift years ago that Boyd Gordon blocked two shots and then barely made it to the bench, staggering.
Found it, this one:
I wish measles only affected anti-vax parents. Like the kids would totally be fine but the parents would get it and lose a pinky or something. Not enough to hurt them in the long run but enough to look down every day and be reminded of a time in their life when they were thinking like a selfish moron.Vaccines are unnecessary.
I'm having visions of Gormley.Cannot believe the luck this year with the amount of injuries to this club. Capobianco showed well in his 2 games. He was poised, solid defensively and showed well with correct reads not only in the Dzone, but with especially good reads in the neutral zone and at the blue line.
Hopefully it's not something that will hamper his continued development this summer and he will be ready for Camp in September.
I was extremely high on Capobianco.

There was and hopefully still is a lot to like about Capo.....he was doing a solid job QBing the power play despite playing with deficient forwards.Gormley never had wheels and when he had knee surgery, he basically lost what little speed he had and fell below the NHL level line w/regards to being able to play adequate defense. Capobianco has good wheels, and is extremely mobile, hopefully this doesn't take too much out of him. I'm thinking he will be fine, much like Chychrun is fine after his surgeries.
Does the insane amount of injury come out of something in the way the team is asked to play?
Seriously what's the season record for most man-games lost?At this point they may as well go for the record
No. Getting pounded into the boards is common regardless of the system that a defense plays.Does the insane amount of injury come out of something in the way the team is asked to play?
I don't think so. Richardson was fluke, as was Grabner and Capo last night. Schmaltz was only here for a few games, and I think Demers leg hit the post. The way it looks, Raanta and Chick are injury prone.Does the insane amount of injury come out of something in the way the team is asked to play?
