It was reported in today's Times and Transcript that Tkachev is coming to Moncton 100 % if he doesn't sign a deal in the KHL which his agent considered a bit of a stretch as an undersized 18 year old forward.

On the KHL website it say that he played on the 2nd with Zaborsky and Frolov.

Zaborsky played 17:43 and Frolov played 17:32 ... So maybe Tkachev didn't play in PP or he just skiped like 4-5 shift...

I don't know if they have the intention to keep him but he didn't play the two last game.

Btw, I really like him, I think he can go around 35-45 at the draft if he have a good year...

Tkachyov didn't make it to the U-20 NT final roster for the 4 nation tournament, but I think the chances are high that he will go to Subway Superseries, as a lot of KHL based guys will not go there.

He looks great in game one of the Subway Super Series so far. I'm really curious as to where (if anywhere) a highly skilled 140lb Russian will go in the draft.

Omsk won't loan him and the new euro rules state that a CHL can't pay the release fees/penalties.

Roger Shannon , Wildcats' assistant GM , was quoted this week in the Acadie Nouvelle saying that Tkachev is a longshot to ever report to Moncton.
