Ive mentioned his name few times elsewhere, it seems that this Dane does not have a thread, so here you go.
I think he is a good late round pick by the Sharks.

Joachim has played last 5 games with 3 ppg avg.

I remember him from the WJC's, he looked good.

The Sharks AHL team is pretty good. He'd probably be getting fourth line minutes. Whether that's better than tearing up the WHL I don't know.

How so???. Barracuda's d-core is really strong, but their forward core isn't as good.
For me, Blichfeld would fit to their 2nd line already.

Would be interesting to see what Halbgewachs and Blichfeld would be able to do as linemates.

I don't see what tearing apart the WHL as an overager is doing for his development.

Confidence.

He did not have a chance to destroy a junior league (I believe he was on the Hawks 2nd line until this year). Let him be the top dog in juniors before moving to the pros. I think the Sharks have high(-ish) expectations for him, so they want him to have that banner year. To me, I certainly see some potential as a middle 6 scorer. He reminds me of Scott Hartnell, but less of a pest.

Saw him live tonight. He's simply too good for the WHL. Man against boys.

Now that the WJC campster are off tho their camps, Blichfeld has started his rise to the top.
61 points already (almost 2.00 ppg) only 3 points behind WHL/CHL leader Brett Leason.

1st season he scored 58 points in 63 games
2nd season he scored 56 points in 56 games
3rd season he has 61 points in just above 30 games

And Joachim Blichfeld takes the first place in the WHL and in the entire CHL scoring of the 2018-2019 season.
31 goals, 34 assists, 65 points in 33 games, +17, with 37 penalty minutes and 158 SOG.
