Doing a keeper pool and thinking of a 5th round pick on this guy. What is his upside in the NHL? 40, 50, 60, 70 points?

Yikes! 50 would be a dream come true. 40 if everything works out right and it rarely does. At this point he needs to prove he can be a NHLer at all. HE is not exactrly a KHL superstar. He is 22. If nothing unexpected happens my bold prediction is he will be a career KHLer.

I will actually be pretty surprised if he doesn't end up in the NHL. He is exactly what you want in your middle six. Physical, shifty skater, hard-nosed and with a definite nose around the net. Yes, he's 22 but he is also pretty damn close to a guy who is NHL-ready.

I agree he isn't KHL superstar but his skills are extremely translatable to the NHL game.
