Why can't we have done the same thing?

Hiring people costs money, money the team will need to spend when the time is right. We will know the time is right when we have player contracts up for renewal. The money will be required for Dorion’s overtime while he works out slick deals like turning quality players into cost-per-point efficient players.

It’s all part of the grand plan. Only a matter of time before the parade now.

Had he been fired in New York? Teams don’t usually let guys leave if they’re under contract unless it’s for a promotion.

Good for him. I am genuinely happy for him. I also do not care that the Sens didn't hire him. It doesn't really matter. It's actually probably better because the coaching set up in Ottawa barely survived last season and is on an extremely short leash for next season. Who in their right mind would want to join that situation?

I wish him and his family the best in MONTREAL.

I will always remember his response to Brandon Dubinsky’s truculence!
