    Good scrap.

I'd give Vandermeer the slight edge.

    Fixed the video.

Is it just me or did Lucic look tired, like he was at the end of his shift?

Both landed good punches. I would say it's a draw, but I'll give the slight edge to Vandermeer.

Lucic has the edge, even at the end of a tough shift. Would love to see a rematch.

Vandemeer all the way!!! Watching that slow-mo, Lucic never landed a punch!!

Lucic didn't wait til Vandemeer was ready to fight, how come nobody is having a fit like they did when Subban got the early start against Lupul???

LMAO.... pathetic troll attempt by a pathetic troll. Vandermeer was the one who threw the first punches of the fight. Vandermeer was also cut by what was probably the best punch of the fight too. Good fight, edge Lucic for coming on strong as the fight went on, and at the end of his shift nonetheless.

Didn't realize Vandermeer was that tough. Good for him. Props to Lucic as well for coming on strong at the end despite getting nailed with a couple of really good shots earlier in the fight.

Slight edge to Vandermeer because he threw the two best punches.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....you should take off your "Biased Bruins Glasses" watch that video again!!!

    1) Lucic threw the first punches as Vandemeer shook off his gloves. Lucic ALWAYS gets 2 punches in before his opponent gets his gloves off....ALWAYS!! Thats the way he fights....cheap!!

    2) Vandemeer wasn't cut at all....Lucic didn't land any punches so how could Vandemeer get cut?? Probably why Vandemeer was smiling at Lucic at the end of the fight too.

    3) Since Lucic didn't land any punches, how could he have the edge??

I love seeing clips like this and then seeing how the Bruins fans make up lies so their player doesn't lose.....pathetic.

What the hell are you talking about? Vandermeer threw the first punch.

    Go caress your precious Subban.

I'm guessing it's opposite day in Montreal. Or you've got massive brain damage.

Only a biased Bruin's fan or a blind person would say Lucic won this fight. As much as I like Lucic, he had it handed to him.

Pause at 0:13. Vandermeer's gloves are lying on the ice when Lucic throws his first punch. Also, Vandermeer threw the first punch.

0:37 Lucic follows a body blow with a right cross. If you doubt it, see 1:37 or the slow-mo at the end.

Sounds like you're a little obsessive there sparky.

Shoves at the start of an altercation are not punches. Lucic did nothing wrong per 'The Code' in this fight. It was a good, clean, heat of the moment fight by both parties.

Did Lucic lose? Yeah, I think so. Did he get his ass handed to him? No.

looked like Vandermeer stunned Lucic with his first punch. A quick short one in close then he held on and just let Lucic get himself together instead of just pounding him. Pretty classy move.

    Win Vandermeer.

The speculation is that he was worried he'd broken or otherwise wounded his hand, it has a tendency to happen quite a bit with Lucic.

i meant Vandermeer stunned Lucic. It looks like Lucic was stunned and Vandy held up on firing more shots until Lucic was all together. Watching it with the sound now even Homer Jack said Lucic was shaking off the cob webs.

Either way a real good fight by two guys throwin bombs.

Vandermeer is one of my favorite scrappers.

Too bad he's 'just' 6'1'' otherwise I think he would be a great heavyweight. He still doesnt mind to go toe to toe with them but he lacks reach.

Lucic looked gassed so this bout was not really fair, I think.
