I expected more, but didn't think he was that bad in the top 6 this season. Either way I have a hard time seeing what good putting him on the 4th line does for anything other than an extremely temporary assignment (which it very well still could be.)

I expected more, but didn't think he was that bad in the top 6 this season. Either way I have a hard time seeing what good putting him on the 4th line does for anything other than an extremely temporary assignment (which it very well still could be.)

The issue to me is we have plenty of other guys who deserve more ice time than him based on their on ice performance. The only thing Granlund really has going for him is his pedigree as a former 60 point guy. Judging solely on this season he's been our 12th best forward so that's the ice time he should get in my mind until he outperforms someone else.
