Did LeBron travel on his record breaking layup to move past Jordan?

Looks like he picked up his pivot foot before the ball hit the ground.

Just sayin'.

It is time for James LeBron to literally "shut it down" for the rest of the season. The Lakers will not make the playovvs this season, so it is time to rest up, get healthy, and try again next year.

P.S. Wish we still had Kobable.
 say it ain' so

I thought it was too, but the ball just has to be released before his pivot foot moves. Regardless, it's the NBA, there is a travel on almost every possession, or half a dozen per if Harden has the ball.

of course

this team just hasn't been able to catch any breaks with injuries the last several years. and its been even worse with ball, ingram, and kuzma. right when they start consistently playing well they get hurt

Man they're dropping like flies.

Players are getting injured, too.

Safe to say LeBron's playoff streak is in some serious jeopardy....but I'm sure he expected that going in.

Imagine if they move up in the lottery
They will. That's why the minutes restriction was put on LeBron. If they had kept Brooke, D'lo, and Randle, and not signed LeBron they'd be a better team and better off than they are now. They're stuck with an aging HoFer who must have the ball in his hands all the time. Although the Celtics are struggling, Kyrie made the right decision for the long term. Many of the top free agents (Durant, Kawhi, etc.) will not come to the Lakers.

You need a starting PG to shoot 71.7% FT when he handles the ball and gets fouled in the last 2 minutes, not 41.7%. Nash shot 90.43%. They need to trade Lonzo for a PG or a 1st round pick they can use on a PG.

not bringing back lopez and randle hurt big time. apparently the coaching staff pleaded with magic to bring them both back but instead he went out and signed mcgee and stephenson. aside from bringing in lebron, everything magic has done during his time as GM has been bad or just flat out awful. if he can't land a big name this offseason he needs to go

as for trading lonzo, that would be a terrible mistake. he's the only player on the team who plays good defense. just look at what has happened to the lakers team defense since he got hurt

Agreed. Most ex-players are bad coaches, GMs, and Presidents. Unfortunately, Jeannie and Magic have been friends since they were teenagers and she will never fire him. When Magic retires, I'm glad her friend Kobe's not interested, because he would probably be a bad President also. He did talk her into firing Jim and Mitch though, which was obviously a good thing.

Just like as a player you got to earn your way. Magic is just stepping in and is only relying on superstars.

Coulda gotten Jerry West. While he obviously can’t be a full time POBO, he at least could have led the search for a GM.

Our old Ball thread seems gone (Must have died in transition) and figured this may fit in here

The part about Lakers having concerns his shoe's are part of reason for ankle issues is interesting if that is case

I imagine Lakers are probably tiring of Lavar Ball at this point and that is why his son seems to be mentioned as trade chip
