That another North American (who I might add is not crossing a picket line, and yes, there are European Player Associations) displaced him is testament to the state of Bohono's career.
BAuldie said:That is not true.. all european teams have slots for imports.. so he didn't take it from a Swiss National.. as for other European players.. well its a little different when someone who is suppose to be on strike comes over to take your job.. last time I checked, real unions actually walked picket lines.. oh god how I would love to see NHL players huddled around a fire in a barrell

Lonny Bohonos is a hypocrite. He eschews a system that once worked for his benefit.
Sometimes those say what might be considered controversial to start controversy. People with beliefs like this are why there is a lockout. Congrats.Bicycle Repairman said:Joe Thornton may do as he pleases in this regard. For he is a rich superstar, with which comes entitlement. Lonny Bohonos, as a bottom feeder, can not. Therein lies the obvious truth.

Come with some facts. Oh wait you are a facts on the fly kind of guy. Import slots are a way of life in the European leagues, some more than others. What these players are doing is hypocritical and you know it. I as always anxiously await your next post. You are the Steve Ott of hockeysfuture so you really don't get a rise out of me with your nonsense but at least take some pepto before you let out another barrage of verbal diarrhea.Bicycle Repairman said:Mr. Bohonos be best looking for a new line of work because at his age his career has reduced him to playing in the Central Hockey League. BLONG7 said:Bottom line is here, that the players don't mind taking jobs from other players, they think that's the way it is... then there are the refs who made a decision as a group not to go down to other leagues and take jobs away from their minor league counterparts, I wonder which group can call themselves a real union, and which group can call themselves greedy and self serving!
