Great Quote:
Will Lochead on his OHL career.

“I came into the OHL as a nobody player,” he said.
“I got invited to Niagara training camp (in 2015) as a favour."
"I tried to be the hardest-working guy every day and take it to next level."
"Hopefully, I can work my way through the American league and into the NHL.”

99's (Potential OA's): J.Keane(RD), Coome(LD), Cotter (C), Nelson (C), Tymkin (RW), Turko (LW) *italicized are the players with likely AHL options.

00's: Foudy (LW), Boqvist (RD) , Dunkley (LW), Moskal(C), Regula (RD), Kooy (G)

01's: McMichael (C), Guskov (LW)

02's: Stranges (LW), Panwar (C), Evangelista (RW), G.Keane (RD)

The returning depth chart is
RW
1. Tymkin
2. Evangelisa

LW
1. Foudy
2. Dunkley
3. Stranges
4. Guskov
5. Turko

C
1. McMichael
2. Moskal
3. Nelson
4. Cotter
5. Panwar

LD
1. Coome

RD
1. Boqvist
2. Regula
3. J.Keane
4.G.Keane

The way I look at it is we should keep J.Keane/Coome, Tymkin and Nelson/Cotter as the 3 OA's so if J.Keane and Cotter are back then Coome, Nelson and Turko are moved for picks

Knights draft picks who may get an opportunity if they come/sign
01's: Vlasic (LD), Skinner (RD), Whittaker (LD), Krieger (C), C.Rowe (G), Beck (RD), Say (G), Fulop (LD), Weight (C), Gerrie (C), Williams (G)

02's McGurn (C), Roger (RD), Winslow (LD), Brochu (G), Mairs (RW), Truscott (LD), Dowiak (C/LW), Beljo (C) ,Chantler (C), Poulin (LW)

03's: Rolofs (LW), Mailloux (RD), McCue (C), Anselmini (C), Federkow (LD), Gilmartin (LW), Shepler (RW), Zaske (RD)

99's: Durham (Flint RW)
00's : Thomas (NIA C), Hillis (Guelph C), Gogolev (Guelph LW), Stevenson (Guelph RW), Lalonde (Guelph RD), Hayton (Soo C), Dellandria (Flint C), Busby (Flint RD),
01's : Carrol (Soo C), Kaliyev (Hamilton LW)
02's: Power (Flint LD)

Niagra didn't pay their players enough.

02's: Power (Flint LD)

Our best case scenario is:

G
Starter: Kooy
Backup: Rowe
3rd: Brochu/Say

D
Vlasic-Boqvist
Regula-J.Keane (OA)
Power-G.Keane
Winslow/Mailloux/Truscott/Federkow/Zaske

Foudy-Dellandria-Tymkin(OA)
Gruden-McMichael-Dunkley
Guskov-Moskal-Stranges
Rolofs-Weight-McGurn
Mairs/Beljo/Dowiak/McCue/Anselmini/Shepler

Trades:
1. Evangelista, Cotter, Panwar + to Flint for Dellandria and Power
2. Nelson for a 2nd
3. Turko for a 5th
4. Coome for a 4th

Commitments:
1.Vlasic
2.Rolofs
3. Mailloux
4.Weight
5. Power(after we own his rights)

Maybe swing a trade near the trade deadline to get Hayton/Kaliyev (if sent back)

The fifth goal of game 7 was scored by Suzuki on the pp.

The seventh goal of game 7 was scored by Ratcliffe and the pass came from Durzi, not Suzuki.

Moskal was the one who turned his back on Ratcliffe.

Carry on

I changed it from 5th to the 4th goal of the game, it was Ratcliffe second of the game

don't think either 02 allows a trade to Flint, don't think you can get those kind of picks for any of the OAs either

Definitely optimistic. I don't understand why Power's name keeps coming up. I know a few posters have discussed the possibilty of a trade, but is there any actual evidence that he wants to play in the O? Any reports circulating that he's leaning towards OHL hockey or that the Hunters are talking to Flint or the kid's agent? If not, I think we should leave him off our projected roster. Just idle speculation.

Why chastise LDN for his efforts..........

We are all entitled to our thoughts and none of us knows what will occur in the next year. I may not agree with some of the specifics of his possible transactions but I find his list to be a good recap of players in the system and in consideration to make the team. There has been a lot of dialogue about certain moves and non-moves this past year (Timms, Keane, Hancock, Suzuki etc...) so it is evident that posters have strong feelings but there has not been agreement on what went right or wrong. Everyone should be allowed to express their thoughts about what they think is best and even possible.

I, for one, look forward to tomorrow's development camp to see who can be part of the upcoming season's team.

September isn't the time for any team to go into panic mode when it comes to card management. Bottom line is the Knights sh!t the bed on that one. Sure, Championships are not won in September but your thought pattern that early can definitely define your season and take away your chances at winning one. Point blank, they screwed up and someone needs to own it. The early panic handcuffed them at the deadline and they were forced to make what turned out to be lateral moves. I liked the Hancock move..but bringing in Keane still is a head scratcher. The D would have been pretty much the same with Timms in that slot. That last card should have went to get a player like Tippett

Spot on, as I've been saying for a few months now (although I was accused of thinking I'm smarter than Mark). A considerable blame goes to management for this year.

I don't see next year as a go for it year. This year was the window and they totally messed it up. I see London as a 7th or 8th place team next season, with a number of players dealt at the deadline. Much like 2017. I want to see a different direction taken behind the bench and hopefully it will happen with Mark and Dale being tied up with the HC program. Junior hockey is a "what have you done for me lately" business. Let's look at the past 6 years since the back to back OHL Championships

2014: Lost in the 2nd round and Sh!t the bed as Memorial Cup Hosts
2015: Lost in the 2nd round
2016: Won the Memorial Cup with a stacked team
2017: Lost in the 2nd round
2018: Lost in the 1st round
2019: Lost in the 2nd round

Some fans would be happy with that resume...not me. Complacency doesn't sit well with me

It’s too early to say what next year will bring. There could be signings over the summer, trades, and the import draft.
However, when you look at the forward group, there is reason to be optimistic. There is a good chance Gruden is here. All the forwards except Formenton and Hancock could return. There will be a ton of depth.
The defence will be a work in progress though.
