Hence why Locheads move was dumb... think about the team first
The 3 d'man PP just not working and just creates more stress on the defense. With all the quality forwards the Knights have use the traditional forward rotation and give Regula/Lochead the regular shift after Bouchard/ Boquist have been out on the PP.

To change the subject slightly, will Lochead be elegible to play in today's game vs the Hounds ? Does his game misconduct trigger an automatic suspension ? If he's scratched and the Knights are forced to go with 5 d-men, will Regula still get added PP time ? Being down 1 d-man it might be prudent to use a 5-man defensive rotation, and a more normal Power Play. Just my opinion, but the situation in Saginaw led to the d corps getting worn down, and against the Sault, they'll need all the energy level they can bring.

I don't believe Lochead will be able to play today, so hopefully, the Knights stop the 3-D PP strategy. I don't know how they expected the D to not be gassed when they've got 3 of them playing on every power play. Maybe today would be a good time to go with a 4-forward PP?!

Are we to take you literally here? Twelve games in the next three weeks and Razor plays them all? We have a very good pair of goalies, I view that as a strength going forward.
No. I'm saying play Kooy only against the weaker teams like Erie, Flint, Hamilton. No more games for him against any contenders.

a win today would be very nice

Although their record overall doesn't say so today's game I think is a big one. Will be interesting to see the bounceback after what sounds like a less than stellar effort.

Also noticed 58 shots on goal in Saginaw with 26 of them coming from the defenseman. Bouchard alone had 12 he must of been tired come the third from all those shots alone? Shots on goal are important BUT the location of those shots are also very telling.

Lochead out... I stand by my comment... selfish and stupid move

Have to Agee with you but this is where the fact that they are kids playing factors in. He gets a pass from me as for the most part he has been a solid addition to the team.

OMG...we lost a game! Get over it! It will happen again before all is said and done!

Can we expect this same response next time Raay gets a loss??

Pretty pathetic...you either support this TEAM or you don’t. I can guarantee that there isn’t a single player or coach who shares your attitude. It’s a team game and Kooy didn’t loose this game alone!

I know it's just 1 loss but at the end of the season those points could prove valuable. No need to call me pathetic just because you don't agree with me. Those are my opinions and if you don't agree that's ok... No need to revert to make calling.
I'm a huge supporter of this team and I'm the first to admit when Razor has a bad game. Sure the D didn't help last night but not all 6 goals were the D's fault. If Kooy was good enough to be the starter this season, he would be. But he isn't. All I'm saying is Razor gives us the best chance of winning. Now circumstances this weekend with the 3 in 3 dictated that Kooy had to play at least once. If it were up to me I would have played Kooy on Friday and Razor against Saginaw. Then ride the hotter goalie against the Soo.

This sums it up. You've got a personal vendetta. I've lost what little respect I had for your opinion
PP31, that's ridiculous to say I have a personal vendetta against an 18 year old kid. I'm just stating my opinion. I dont think Kooy is ready for prime time yet. If you think he is, fine, that's your opinon. I respect everyone's opinion on this board, even if I don't agree with them and I don't profess to know more than any other fan. I just call them how I see them. If that differs with how you see things, that's ok. Doesn't mean I'm wrong and you're right, or vice versa. That's what a discussion board is all about. Lively debate. Not condemning those that don't agree with your opinions.

Put Razor on the bench the rest of the season...when you need a big save he just isn't there

I like Kooy one thing I have to say though is he appeared to better last season than this season, to me anyway? Also for whatever reason this team seems to play better in front of Razor so I think they have made up Dales mind they have to go with Razor until he fails? IMO anyway.

Despite being down a goal, we dominated the first period, outshooting, outskating, and outplaying the Soo. Hounds announcer, Jim McK, just echoed my sentiments.

That's the difference. That early goal was equally Razors fault as well as the D lapse. But all the Kooy Jock riders would have blamed it all on the D. Would Kooy have made the save? Maybe, maybe not but if it was Kooy letting in that goal, all the Kooy apologists would have balmed it all on his D. Just sayin'

5 D dressed...lets put 3 on the PP

Smart coaching right there

Was wondering the same thing...

I've never been a fan of the 3D set up in the first place...there's too much offensive talent on this team to be throwing out Regula on the first unit...

Totally agree. But don't say that too loud on this board. For some he's the second coming of Christ .
