A loser point is one more than a loss, but one less than a win. If the Wings end up missing the playoffs by 1-5 points, they can look at losses like this.

Huh? The Islanders feed said the Oilers did it in 2003-2004.

Well, maybe that was just going to OT 5 times in a row. Maybe they actually won some of their OT games.

FWIW, this team will be A LOT better when Weiss, Alfie and Nyquist are in the lineup. However, I'm starting to truly doubt Nyquist gets a chance. Thanks Babs and Ken!
