What do you think of these potential line combos? And where do Weal and Lindblom fit?

    Konecny-Giroux-Voracek
    Weal/Lindbom-Patrick-Simmonds
    Filppula-Couturier-Read (Shutdown Line)
    Raffl-Lehtera-Vecchione/Weise

    Provorov-MacDonald
    Sanheim-Gudas
    Gostisbehere-Hagg/Morin

If Weise isn't with Couturier I'm going to flip ****. Their chemistry was undeniable.

I'd like to see Weal with NAK, Lindblom with Giroux.

    So maybe

    Lindblom-Giroux-Simmonds
    Filppula-Couturier-Voracek
    Raffl-Patrick-Konecny
    Lehtera-Laughton-Weise

Aube-Kubel. RW prospect we took in the 2nd round who plays for Lehigh Valley. A decent prospect who deserves more offensive chances next year in the AHL, so putting him with Weal could help with that.

Give him the jersey number 47 so we can call him AK-47

You'd put Weise in over Read?

Yea it was kinda a toss up but I went with Weise.

Weise had good chemistry with Couturier and Schenn towards the end of last season so I went with Dale but Read is probably a better option playing along side Raffl and Lehtera on the 4th line.

    I know... aaahhhhhhhhh

I think only 2 or the 3 rookie d-men are staying on the Flyers roster.
Sanheim will definitely get a long look in camp but ultimately I think Hextall sends Sanheim back down to the AHL for 1 more season.

I'd rather have Sanheim over MacDonald but my roster is what I believe Hextall will ice come October.

I think they want Konecny to play his natural side, RW. It will help him defensively; especially with dzone exits which he did struggle with at times.

Patrick will likely start as 3C. No chance he gets more ice time than Couturier.

I dont want to see Read in a Flyers jersey ever again. If he does play, I want him on the 4th line instead of dragging down Couturier.

Morin has played LD only so you wont see him at RD. Hopefully the organization has put the MacDonald on the top pair nonsense behind them.

Hard to say where the top 9 wingers lineup though. When I do a lineup it ends up looking different each time.

I just want the top 9 to be Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Couturier, Patrick, Lindblom, Konecny, Filppula, and Weal. How it is assembled is anyones guess.

    Lind-Nolan-Filp
    Raffl-Laughts-Leht

Some guys are playing out of position, but I don't think Nolan playing on the wing to start would be the worst thing. And if Lehtera can't play RW, Read can. But the top 2 lines have shown chemistry, this time give them an extended amount of time together.

    Lindblom - Giroux - Voracek
    Weal - Couturier - Simmonds
    Filppula - Patrick - Konecny
    Raffl - Lehtera - Weise
    Read

    Provorov - Gudas
    Morin - Ghost
    Hagg - MacDonald

    Elliot
    Neuvirth

As much as I hate the idea. I'm afraid MacDonald's presence will push Sanheim back to the AHL for a couple months. :shakehead

It'd be super disappointing for Sanheim to be in the AHL when he's better than both Morin and Hagg.

I really hate the fact that he is put on his off wing just to accommodate rest of our pipeline. I want to use our best players for best opportunities and put them in position to succeed, not cover holes elsewhere. It's Schenn at center all over again.

Preparing for MacDonald to be on the top pair again.

Gudas, Gostisbehere, Hagg, Myers, etc. all play the right side. Sanheim ended up getting moved back to the left side in the AHL as the year moved on last year anyway.
