First Lindell makes 2.2 AAV right now so why on earth would Dallas have to retain 50%.

Second Lindell is not a RD. Im actually not sure if he has ever played RD

Third Lindell is a 24 year old top 3D man, top 2 for us, is logging 24-25 a night so we just cant really trade 25 minutes away like that without some kind of key NHL piece coming back.

With all that said, why on earth does Dallas consider moving him for a late first...

Still a massively easy no. Lindell could be moved for a Spezza replacement 2C. It would have to center around Nylander and you guys need a RD not a LD so I assume it ends there.

Ya Dallas and the Leafs dont really make good trading partners. I could see Dallas having intrest in Kadri but leafs have no replacement and the cost would be too high.
