For the Avs Jeff Finger will probably make the team as a 7th Dman. He played 22 games last season, so he's still technically a rookie. As for any others, you'll have to wait until training camp.

Clarke MacArthur may not make the Sabres out of camp but will probably nail down a regular job before the season's over. Defensemen Michael Funk and Andrej Sekera should see time as injury callups.

Hawks are gonna give 3 forward spots to rookies IMO.

Toews is a lock
Kane is likely
Brouwer is possible
Skille is possible
Kontiola is possible
Blunden is possible

Id expect to see Tallon trade Vrbata and/or Williams to a team looking to get to the cap floor for a 3rd or 4th.

Andy Greene will play an important role on NJ's Defense next season as a rookie....And Dave Clarkson will have an opportunity to make the team.

Possible for Minnesota is Kalus

:rant::rant::rant::rant:

For the Bruins, Krejci might make it at some point as 4th line C, and possibly Nate Thompson makes it for forward as well.

For D, look for Mark Stuart to be up all year and Lashoff might get 20-30 games.

Grossman on d for Dallas as a 5/6 guy. There remains an opening in the top 6 but likely filled by Erikkson who I belivev is no longer technically a rookie. Pushkarov and Lessard also have ashot

Peter Mueller is a cert for the Coyotes.

Bill Thomas, Dan Carcillo are likely to make it as are Matt Jones and Brendan Bell (both just signed one ways). Dave LeNeveu might bring that up to 6 rookies.

Keith Yandle and Martin Hanzal are talented and close to being ready but dont have an obvious spot yet. They should get a chance at some point. Two Russians, Kaigorodov and Lisin are possibilities but there is not much confidence in those two to attend camp let alone make the cut. Talk about a rebuild.. a potential 10 rookies there lol.

The Habs will have Andrei Kostitsyn although he's got 34 games already so he might not count as a rookie. Either Halak or Price will be with the team, I would think both will see some games as both can go back and forth to the minors. Ryan O'Byrne should see some games, Kyle Chipchura should see some games for sure and Mikhail Grabovski will see some games. Maxim Lapierre should be a lock for a spot as well since he played 46 games last year.

Safe to say one of Noah Babin, Casey Borer or Brett Carson will be a factor in the Canes blueline situation as the season goes on.

I'm not a Kings fan but there's this kid....eh.... I think his name is.....eh.... Jack Johnson.

Andy Greene will be a force for the Devils this season. He'll see ALOT of ice time. Clarkson is going to be a 3rd or 4th liner and there's also Matthew Corrente, but he's a long shot.

T.J. Hensick could make it on the Avs, probably best if he played in the AHL first though, since he will only see 3rd/4th line ice time with the Avs.
