SOLI'S SHORTSIDE
  • Price has a history of poor performances versus the Oilers and returns to the net after sitting out one game for missing the All Star game.
  • Hopefully Klefbom can undergo the same procedure that Tom Brady will have done to surgically add a 6th finger to his hand. LET'S GO PATS!
  • Oilers, in the words of Bill Belichick... Do your job.

lol it's my birthday today but I don't know if this will be much of a present

but at this point we are 4 points out of it with a ton of competition. The team needs a winning streak, not just a win.

But I'll try to live up to my name today

Obviously the Oilers are looking at Burakovsky. He played jr with Connor, but is extremely overrated in terms of offensive ability at the NHL level. Would think the Caps have interest in D depth? I would certainly not move out 2nd for Burakovsky. Maybe Connor sees more in him? I'll take McDavid's assessment ahead of our pro scouts. Maybe the Caps would take Petrovic and a pick for Burakovsky?

Caps have been scouting us hard and are looking for 3rd line help.
I bet Kassian or Chaisson will be on that team after the deadline.

I like this game. Oilers are 4-1 last 5 visits in French city, and 8-2 vs Habs last 10.
Both teams on the 2nd half of a back to back and coming off an OT loss.

Personally would've played Talbot today and Koskinen yesterday. Talbot is 7-2 vs Habs lifetime.
But still feel they are going to gut it out.
5-2, Hoppy with a big game

Koskinen will stand on his head, let's see if the team will help him or sink him.
4-2 Oilers, lol.

You people are funny thinking the Oilers will win. That loss yesterday was so Oilers with Russell and Rattie out there in OT. They will be pounded today!
