After the disaster last weekend's game was, I'll try another edition of L1 GOTW.
This time, we're going to Montpellier, sunday at 5PM Paris time.

Montpellier is hosting Lyon.
Montpellier will be without Teji Savanier, who got red carded last week, but are still a solid and dangerous team.
Lyon, OTOH, is spectacular offensively with top level talents, but also extremely weak at the back with shaky defensemen and tactics. This should mean multiple goals, on both sides.

Prediction :
Montpellier 2-3 Lyon

@Evilo Could you add a segment with a couple of the young players to key in on while watching? Something along those lines.

Sorry, I'm late to the party.
Guys to keep an eye on on both sides :

Montpellier :
Cozza plays CB, and is a decent CB so far. He has upside, but doesn't seem to take the next step.
Joris Chotard is someone I like a lot at DM. Very smart positionning and excellent passer. Lots of activity too.
Mavididi is an english player who's shown some nice things this year (3+2).
Gioacchini : don't know much about him, but he's american :D

Lyon :
Malo Gusto is the next big thing at RB for France. He used to be a midfielder and has a complete game. He's still young and makes mistakes, but he's already better than Dubois according to every Lyon fan.
Maxence Caqueret deserves no introduction, he's a do-it-all CM/DM that reteives the ball, is an incredible presser, excellent passer and tecnically gifted.

Bench options :

Montpellier :
Wahi is a very gifted young striker who's shown bad behaviour was kicked out of Caen's academy. No denying his talent though.
Leo Leroy is a new signing, son of former OM and PSG player Jerome Leroy. Talented CM.

Lyon :
Rayan Cherki is a phenom. His technical ability is matched by very very few players. He needs to develop his play without the ball and make better choices, but his potential is absolutely unreal. G or A every 72 minutes all competition.

Paqueta opens the scoring thanks to a wonderful cross by Gusto to start the play.

Decent game, Lyon won, but few goals, so a little diappointed. Both teams should have scored one more goals but didn't.
Turns out the game of the week was Lens/Angers (2-2) friday with two teams playing uptempo, full court press.
