If Nasser was a private businessman with no link to royal family and thus PSG was a privately owned enterprise, you would have a point.

But they are not so either way its a terrible comparison.

I dont know you, or what you do, but your actions in this thread screams selfishness.

And yours scream a lot of things too.

Point still stands. Saying other people are evil while being happy with your own country/billionaire owner is... well.

lol, well I was gone for a week and this discussion devolved predictably...

I dunno why you guys take the bait on the diversion tactics. He's standing on nothing and he knows it. It's beyond evident he hasn't done the requisite research, otherwise, he'd position his defense focusing on what's actually been challenged. Serie A, North America, racism, evil, Americans... it's all irrelevant to anything I've ever said.

Evilo, when have I ever said I don't want QSI owning Roma because of their nationality? I'll help you, the answer is never. Maybe you're confusing me with another Serie A fan. All of my reservations come from what they've done in football, and that's all I've ever discussed here.

This is a football forum, so when I say things like they're "dirty", I'm talking specifically within the realm of football. I don't expect anything close to intelligent, cordial discussion on world affairs here. Please don't say my world view is like a 5 year old's. I happen to actually enjoy talking with you and find your football knowledge interesting to read, but if you do that again, I will dismantle your bull**** piece by piece.

If you want to know exactly why I don't want them owning Roma, let's have that talk. I'll break it down point by point and we'll see if you're capable of actually staying on topic for once, instead of lashing out emotionally, grasping onto whatever point you think can make your argument sound convincing.

This rant you've gone on while I away was anything but productive, no? I think we can agree on that.

    Dismantle, lol. Good one.

Fine if you applied "dirty" to football only.
Then please, explain how "dirty" they've been in their PSG ownership.

    Neymar is accused of rape.
So angered, he published his whole whatsapp conversation where the girl baits him with nude pics from ALL angles

    Then and there
Quite a dramatic ending to the Gazalec Ajaccio vs Le Mans match. Gazalec had a chance to score from the spot on 93rd minute which would have secured their survival in Ligue2, but the keeper saved it. Then Le Mans scores on 97th minute and they're promoted (there was supposed to be only 6 minutes of overtime).

I was coming to post that :amazed:
It's not "just" that Le Mans scored at the 97th to promote.
It's that it was on THIS goal :

Whether or not he raped her, publishing nude pics without permission is punishable by 5 years in prison.

    He's ****ed on that

Brazilian police looking at Neymar video release

"The Office for the Investigation of Cyber Crimes (DRCI) will investigate the alleged video disclosure by the player Neymar," the Civil Police told ESPN Brazil. "The 110th precinct has already taken steps to assist in this investigation."
Neymar may have violated a Brazilian law that deems it illegal to "offer, exchange, provide, transmit, sell or exhibit for sale, distribute, publish or divulge, by any means -- including mass communication or computer or telecommunication -- photograph, visual or other audiovisual record containing a scene of rape or of vulnerable [people] or that makes an apology or induces its practice, or, without the victim's consent, sex scene, nudity or pornography."

If found guilty, Neymar could face up to five years in jail. He has called the rape accusation against him a "setup" and an extortion attempt.

Yeah you don't get 5 years of jail for showing an ass of a girl that accuses you of rape.
And the face isn't shown. And name isn't given.
And some "parts" are blurred :D.

And he would rather pay than get his name dirtied.
I think it's smart for him to do that in fact.
    People always have doubt.
After seeing these messages (right or wrong) people think he's innocent.
And that's all he cares for.
Look at CR7. Most people think he's a rapist. If he had shown something like this the opinion would be different.

To be clear I'm talking about public (and sponsors) opinions here not what happened or not.

So yes I hardly think it's dumb. I think it's VERY smart.

Nice is going to get bought by Ratcliffe, a UK billionnaire.
Not only has his offer for the club been accepted, but he also wants to buy the Allianz Riviera, their magnificent stadium.

No. He owns Team Sky though.

The guy is obscenely rich, but he's also one of those guys who believes in drilling the world until there are earthquakes everywhere so naturally I don't like him.

Neymar's accuser has been "sacked" by her own lawyers, who are tired of her contracting herself all the time....

Mostly it seems like they withdrew because of the massive publicity after it became clear that Neymar's lawyers aren't interested in settlement. As for the allegations this is something that must be investigated thoroughly, clearly Neymar used her as a mere sex toy but whether any borders of consent were crossed or she's just seeking revenge after being disregarded must somehow be established. Of course it also seems like neither side manages to see the error in their own ways very well, reading their chat history is like watching a car accident in slow motion and both of them should have known better.

Uber Eats will sponsor Ligue 1 instead of Conforama now. Ligue 1 Uber Eats doesn't really roll off the tongue as well.
