Hagelin's goal was totally gratifying. It had it all, hunger for the check, confidence to make the move instead of shovelling the puck off to someone, and a ripper of a shot.

That goal had it all.

Yeppers. That was a real highlight. Looks like he had some of that trademark swagger happening. The team really needed that - not just a goal, but the attitude that went with it.

Amazing how "Balance" as Sullivan called it restores with one player back in the lineup. What a performance by Big Ricky. I think he single handedly talked some people off the ledge with his play tonight.

Nash being out is a piss poor excuse for the bad performance the past few games.

With that logic the team should've sucked last season, not been the #1 seed.

Martin St.Louis after being on a goal scoring drought for 18 games, has more goals than Rick Nash. :p

Overrated, trade him! My little homage to the main boards.

The collective IQ on the main boards is about 3.

And of course Joe just had to mention MSL's goal drought before the game.

So how many meaningful goals does Nash have this year? 1? 2?
if you want to play the numbers game we're 0-3-1 without nash... nash is like hagelin or callahan or lundqvist. he dictates the flow of the game. nash's assists have certainly been important.
