Interesting. They sent him back down last time for Taormina because he wasn't getting in the lineup. Sustr is suppose to come back in a game or two also.

edit: official now

Good for Slater. Kid has been busting his tail all season for the Crunch and deserves every opportunity he gets to play in "The Show".

Another callup, looks like we weren't the only once concerned with last night's 'd' play.

Seems like a bad idea to use up another recall so early even with the ****** D play last night. Sustr and Coburn are going to be back soon so it seems like a waste to me.

Trying to burn through them so they have none left for Drouin.

Apparently Koekkoek and Witko are both emergency recalls. Please let the injury be Carle and not Hedman because otherwise lololololol

I think you meant Nesterov not Carle, he's worse then Barberio who we should've kept and had Nikita in the A.

D Slater Koekkoek was reassigned to AHL Syracuse, a sign Coburn must be ready. Koekkoek impressed the coaching staff in his latest callup. "Slater has not disappointed one time since he's been up here," Cooper said. "Now it's getting to the point where you can keep putting him out and you're not thinking, 'Is he nervous? Is something going to happen here?' He's playing with confidence and everytime he keeps getting brought up here he's improved and that's a really good sign. He's showing his growth in the minors and his growth as as player. It's great to see that. Unfortunately, there's not room for him at this moment, but hes' definitely playing himself in. And it's good for our organization."
