Thought we really didn't play too bad. Vasilevskiy really made this game look more like a blowout then it was. Also the refs probably won them that. Bad calls and noncalls really sunk the Oilers tonight. If there was any consistency we would have had lots more power plays then what we got. Also missing two boardings and a spear is brutal. TMac really should call them out.

In a span of a week we went from 2 starters to 2 back ups. This was a weird game that we deserved to lose but could if won. Line-up looked a little out of sync, and Nurse/Russell were a combined -7.

We are now a middle of the pack team, but the schedule starts to tilt in our favor soon, we need to use this game, make adjustments and get back on track asap.

Team has been taking a pretty big break from proper defensive effort. Maybe they figure these 2 games were not that winnable and what's the point of going all in. Better get back on the wagon ASAP.
