Welp here it is. Makes sense for Lias, he needs playing time and if Quinn won’t give him a chance the best option is Hartford.
He wasn’t given a chance by this coaching staff in the first placeKid needs to put it together down there. He's running out of chances
It should certainly be a wake up call.Howden should be going down also.
I hope he tears it up down there. But what if he doesn't?
Are they going to play in a 3rd/4th line role with PK time in Hartford? That would make the most sense if that's what they want from him in the NHL. Having him go down there and play as the 1C with huge PP time and neglect defensive responsibilities won't help him when his NHL roll will be completely different.
And what if the goal is to learn to be a 3/4 center who is tasked with being defensively responsible and also creates offense. Why wouldn't you give the kid the 1c slot in Hartford and let him play under those conditions. Are they going to play in a 3rd/4th line role with PK time in Hartford? I was thinking maybe 2nd line minutes. Better opposition, but nothing over his head. He needs minutes, but like you said, he shouldnt be there to drive offense. Are they going to play in a 3rd/4th line role with PK time in Hartford?
