I went with Ladd over Couture as my 4LW because Ladd oozes with passion, character, grit(which is something we need vs the us) and hes a super solid 2 way player(i think MB is starting to rub off on me :(). Tavares is on the wing because i didnt want to put either him or Toews as my 3C, thats a perfect role for someone like Getzslav. Went with Benn over Couture as my 3LW because hes a heavy forechecker so he would mesh really well with Getzslav's puck possession game, together they would make a legit forecheck/puck possession line. I was debating over having Lucic or Sharp as my 4RW but i ended up going with Sharp because i was worried that Lucic would get exposed on the bigger ice surface (similar to what happened with Thornton 4 years ago).

I feel really bad for leaving Couture out, skillwise he deserves to be there but needs-wise i dont think he fits well on the team. The only potential spot he can take is Duchene's but i have him ahead of Couture.

I was debating over putting Subban w/ Doughty but i decided against it because i wanted Subban to play on his side, and i think him and Vlasic would make a really good pair.

As for the goalies.. not much to say tbh. Prince is my no1, Luongo is my no2 due to his experience and i didnt know who to pick as my no3. I'd probably go with the goalie who has the most experience and was the hottest at the time, that would be MAF right now.

Subban - Doughty

Kind of just threw people in random positions, but for the most part those are the guys I'd like to see on the team. Also a tossup for the starter position between Lu and Price.

I think team Canada should take a strong look at Price, Bernier and Smith. Luongo would be the go-to guy for if one of those guys gets injured or sucks between now and the olympics.

Nash should have no part of Team Canada imo. Not that he's declined badly but better options available. Same goes for Sharp who's past prime.

I know some people want Hall or Eberle on Team Canada but I don't trust any of the Edmonton players. Hall makes good plays and stupid plays, I'd rather have someone in-between and Eberle was good with Canada at the WC a couple years ago on that line with Tavares/Skinner but he doesn't look very good this year.

BGallly will make team Canada. Book it.

i actually thought about a ladd/couture/benn - bergeron - gally 4th line, sadly we have alot of young players on the team so theyre prob gonna go w/ a more experienced player like sharp over gally. cant go wrong with either

Duchene - Crosby - Stamkos
Tavares - Toews - St. Louis
Couture/Benn - Getzslaf - Perry
Benn/Ladd(only if Benn plays as the 3LW) - Bergeron - Gallagher/Sharp

:win:

There's no way Hall shouldn't be on that team.
