Master Of The Score
Appearing at the camp,
Ready to prove he can still light the lamp.
Stained of the brand
Scores a pile of goals,
Forcing adoring fans to spit on their own souls.
Everything seems forgiven
Everyone seems to love him some more,
But he stokes a media circus
So really nothing is as before.
----------------

Master Of The Score
Will he play some more?
Nobody knows
But for now it's an open sore.
Keeper of the flame
Guardian of the hope,
His mess this summer
Made him act more like a dope.
Can't it all be forgotten?
Can it not all go away?
Or will his lust satisfaction
Turn his god-like status astray?

Don't give him a hand,
Don't be ready yet
To strike up the band.
Trouble may still brew
Indictment may arise
Maybe he should be sent off months to stew?
Till his troubles have been decided
Till we all know for sure,
Maybe it is best to go with caution,
Until we have some final cure.

(I admit I am no Lloyd-Webber,but at least I tried).

The brand still quite stained,
