Maybe he is finally fully over the groin injury he has been fighting all season. This is the log of his last 4 games played:

Dec 26 - 30 Saves/31 Shots
Dec 27 - 24 Saves/24 Shots
Dec 30 - 32 Saves/34 Shots
Jan 2 - 38 Saves/39 Shots

That is a blistering .969 Save Percentage over that span. Let's hope he keeps it up. It looks like he is starting to really emerge.

Lehtonen is starting to round into form. I think that he is finally physically fit and starting to get acclimated to the North American style and lifestyle.

The kid has been everything that the organization had expected. He's talented, physically gifted and mature. He has a presence in goal that all the great ones have. He's calm and composed and instills confidence.

Unless something arrests his development, Lehtonen will be a great one. I expect to see him in the NHL next season as a backup (if there is an NHL season).
