Can we add Bure to the list of 10s? One of the greatest scoring talants of all time.

Or at least his 96.

For shame, Kahrlamov's number which is perhaps the 2nd most sacred number of all time is #17. Its so sacred poor Kovalchuk has to wear #71 come the Olympics.

Sorry, I believe the Legend Kahrlamov passed away before I was born, so I wasn't sure of his number, my bad.

A lot of legendary goalies wore Number 1 long before Parent came along. Plante, Sawchuk, Bower, etc.
But I'm a huge Flyers fan so Bernie is Number 1 on my list for goalies. ;)

because Crosby is on the Penguins, he will not be a legendary number. It will only be Mario

87 is already a household number

by the end of his career it'll be pretty darn legendary
about as legendary as Lindros' #88

Legendary numbers as far as I'm concerned are 99, 66, 4,9, 20, 33, 1, and 77.

Also, whoever said that Orr "noses out" beliveau is a bit off. Orr was at least a tier ahead of Jean. Don't get me wrong, Beliveau is near the top but Bobby is AT the top.
