Lets speculate who leaked the NHL offer to TSN, Bill Watters says most the media insiders know and it came out of Toronto.

I was shocked by Bettman's harsh words about the leak. Exactly what authority does he have to dismiss a guy from a franchise?

The only people we can rule out at this point are Brooks and Strachan, I mean they have never gotten anything right.

If we can figure it out, lets tell Bettman! He will make it worth our while!

    Melnyk? He's from Toronto.

If the culprit is ever determined Bettman won't do a thing, especially if it is Melnyk. Is he really going to "fire" Melnyk? Maybe a fine or penalty of losing some draft picks, but that's it. There aren't that many billionaires in Canada who are buying up Canadian teams because they "don't want to see another Canadian team to leave the country".

(That's if you believe that's why he bought the team. I think it was a small part of it, but I don't think that was his biggest motivation. Either way, he has kept the Sens in Ottawa and that's fine by me!)
