I thought the Matthews line was a bit dicey, Matthews and Marleau just doesn't work for some reason



Thanks God, if we're a couple ahead going into the 3rd I feel pretty comfortable

I couldn't say that a couple of years ago

but the thing was - lol they very rarely lost games going into the third with the Lead hahaha even when when they blew leads all the time they very rarely lost those games. it's a lot less harrowing though that's for sure.

yea, why put a defensively responsible player out in the final minutes when protecting a lead? Should have put Nylander out so he could get an empty netter and break the slump.

I do not view Brown as being defensively responsible when he fails to clear pucks, cannot protect the puck and loses every puck battle.

This season he has shown zero tenacity and without that he is a hindrance as he has little skill and no size.

At this point Babcock is still rewarding him on his off ice ethic and not his performance. It was the same nonsense with Komorov last season.
