Playoff type game and Leafs came through and then some. Physicality, emotion, great players playing great. Just what needs to happen.

NHL Rank over the last 4 games (the last week):

Shot differential: 5th
xGF%: 4th
Scoring Chance differential: 3rd
High Danger Chance differential: 1st

Wasnt too worried after the Leafs lost the two Canuck games. Team played great, goalies were the difference.

Just want to stay healthy right now really. Might be smart to rest guys we know are playing hurt (Holl, Matthews, a couple others)

One of the most enjoyable games of the year. A Dubois beatdown would have capped it off nicely.

Thornton with one hell of a game. Scores a beauty goal and takes the Jets' best player off the ice after targeting him on back-to-back shifts. Like @WayneTrain said in the GDT, this guy is going to wakeup in the playoffs and be a handful. Don't forget his battles with Zetterberg, Crosby, etc. over the years. Big time competitor.

Sandin is a tank. He uses that reverse hit all the time in the AHL and it rocks people. He's built.

That was a fun game to watch.

They played with a lot of grit from top to bottom and mucked it up too. That's something the Leafs haven't done for years causing them to fold under pressure.

Something I'm loving right now is that the only team in the division that we don't have a convincing winning record against isn't making the playoffs. As long as the goaltending is right heading into the playoffs, gotta imagine that no one will want to draw us.
