At best, you can only be 75% confident that your team will win, and that's if you're the best team facing the worst. You can't know ahead if they'll win or not.

But 2nd games of back-to-back's usually have said team at a disadvantage

If we upgrade Moore on the 4th line it could actually be a matchup line, with 3 lines that can score and are still decent defensively.

If we made the 4th line the Marlies 1st line of Johnsson-Aaltonen-Kapanen, it could dominate its competition.

This year has seemed so much like the team/org doesn't want to use its talent to its best abilities

Going up against NHL quality 4th lines with size, while only play 10 minutes a night if they are lucky, would not make them nearly as effective as you think. Most of them are fast enough where you can not just skate around them like they could in the AHL, and it's not like these guys are going to beat anyone physically.

Wouldnt that same logic apply to every NHL team? Take their best on the farm and replace their 5-10 min a night guys?

As a long time Fan, the “Get Excited About Prospects” road is a long one. Fans take unjustified confidence in “depth” simply because they drafted someone.

Nice to see them mix it up. Outside of the top line, the Bozak line is the “hottest” so it makes sense to shuffle someone over to help get Kadri and Marleau going.

So the process is waiting for some losses, lines to go ice cold for weeks, guys like Kadri to go in a dry spell before you think hmmmm maybe Komarov isn't helping at all on that line? Hmm maybe I can sit Martin a game and get some more speed in there.....

He can make a good pass, he can skate, no question. However, he is such a liability in our end, it all adds up to a 7th D in my mind.
