As far as I concern PO starts now. This is free game for us and Habs did not clinch yet. They cannot afford to retaliate too much. I say hit CC, Tiffoli and Romanov if you find them close to boards. Let's give them some bruises ahead of PO match up.

That’s what I thought but Keefe said it’s cap related. I thought both players were already on the cap?
Didn't catch Keefe's statements. Only thing I can think of is that Sandin was up on emergency loan, maybe that's expiring. If he stays perhaps it becomes a regular recall. We have 2 regular recalls available from the TDL that we can use to recall guys when not under "emergency conditions".

Whenever I don’t want to explain myself to my wife (who is severely technically challenged) I just mumble something about the internet, she just glazes over, same thing here with Keefe and the cap. I just kind of glaze over and accept it.

Maybe pre-emptive in that it gives the flexibility to get Nash and/or Andersen a game before the playoffs begin?
They wouldnt have to pre emptively demote him. They could just demote him before the game that one of the otherw comes back

Sandin likely won’t see another game until the playoffs. This cap moves allows leafs to activate Nash off injury reserve, so it looks like they expect him to be ready soon and want to see him before the playoffs.

Crazy that Marner and JT are both having pretty good goal scoring seasons, and both have less than half as many goals as AM.

Playing Hutton is fine, Sandin had a rough game last time out.
Our depth is awesome. We have 9 guys I would have no problem playing in a playoff game if need be and then even if disaster hits you have specialists in Rosen/Marincin that you can shelter depending on who goes down.
