I hope notDoes Dubas never sleep or what?
Crap I was hoping he was that goalie that is supposed to be the best goalie outside of the NHL, setting all those crazy records...
There are worse ideas than an Engvall-Semyonov-Micheyev energy line, by the sounds.
Depth and competition and placeholders are all fine by me. Smart enough gamble.
Okulov next please: boom/bust potential for a complementary role in the top 6.

Has nobody actually checked to see how Barabanov is doing for San Jose? He has 2 goals, 3 assists in 5 games played. Small sample, yes, but might have been misused here.46 points the year before, is equal to what Mikheyev did his last year in the KHL. Maybe he just had a bad year last year, for whatever reason? Then again, Barabanov also put up 46 points in the KHL as his peak.
The lack of a true training camp and preseason really hurt him and Lehtonen.Has nobody actually checked to see how Barabanov is doing for San Jose? He has 2 goals, 3 assists in 5 games played. Small sample, yes, but might have been misused here.

Giving 30 games to Vesey regardless of performance was far more important to this teams success.Has nobody actually checked to see how Barabanov is doing for San Jose? He has 2 goals, 3 assists in 5 games played. Small sample, yes, but might have been misused here.
Barabanov was the only smaller player no? Lehtonen and Zaitsev are both 6’1+?At least this guy is 6 foot 1. Bigger then past signings and shoots left.

Sounds like a 4C option. He's almost 27, so he's a finished product at this point. I don't mind being the team that serves as a conduit for Russians looking to enter the NHL though.
