Not one to like sitting on his butt, newly appointed Toronto GM Eric Danis was quick to announce the signing of four of the team's prospects to multi-year deals.

Defenseman Tom Koivitso and forwards Nikita Alexeev, Jonas Andersson and Ivan Huml were all signed...all signed three-year deals, except for Andersson, who signed on for two.

Tom Koivisto (D, 5-10, 194 lbs, Age:29)
waymoresports scouting report : sound fundamental game
"Tom has plenty of experience, most of it in Finland, but we still like what he can bring to the table, he will be able to help us immediately"

Nikita Alexeev (RW/LW, 6-5, 210 lbs, Age:21)
waymoresports scouting report : big plans for the towering Russian
"We love this kid's size...we're hoping he takes a page out of Nik Antropov's book (who Danis had in Dallas) and he develops a nasty streak, we want him to play a more physical game, given his imposing stature."

Jonas Andersson (RW, 6-3, 202 lbs, Age:22)
waymoresports scouting report : opportunity to crack lineup
"We feel Jonas can help us sooner rather than later, he's still young and will need time to mature, but he should be playing a regular shift for us this season"

Ivan Huml (LW/RW, 6-2, 195 lbs, Age:22)
waymoresports scouting report : could emerge as top-6 forward
"This kid has the potential to do something special, we're just hoping that he can fulfill this potential, he needs to step it up and soon"
