I'm normally not a Senators fan..never like Alfredsson and always seen him as a diver but this year if the Senators make the playoffs I'm cheering for them all the way (unless oilers make it:laugh:)..to much BS has been handed to Ottawa this year, I'm jumping on the Bandwagon come playoff time

Dont want you. Blasphemer.

i really hope we can play the way were playing for the next couple of weeks. but if not i dont think we need to worry because this draft is as deep as ever and the way the sens draft we could easily get an all-star from this draft

And that's cap hit. If we checked salary I'm sure it's lower (Alfie is 1 Mill instead of 4.875). Maybe in the 20 Million area :P

Leafs post game thread is hilarious.

Saying we're obsessed with them and that's why a couple posters went over there and said something.

I guess they missed the group of Leafs fans who were here BEFORE the game, but somehow disappeared afterwards.

But yes, the obsession is one sided. Whatever makes them feel better, I guess.

 They had a minor email sent to STH of the Senators make FRONT PAGE NEWS in Toronto...and WE are obsessed?

Great win over the leafs and their ugly fanbase!

Thought that you had a struggling time ahead with injurys on the key players.
Seems other players steps up instead !

Great job beating the Leafs. Awesome. :handclap:

You gave their fans a collective seizure.

The Sens with a full lineup would be a threat in the East.

Did anyone see this gem from TSN's website when asked about the injuries?

“We have our share too; we just haven't made as big a splash about our share of injuries I guess. Our media isn't allowed to do that I guess.â€

- Carlyle, addressing the Senators injury situation.

Good god, please let last night be the start of the Leafs inevitable crash :yo:

I posted it somewhere in the GDT but I think it bears repeating. I've been a little dissapointed by Dziurzynski's physical play. He needs to finish his hits better and take the opportunity to lay guys out when they present themselves. He's not here to play like Peter Regin. He needs to look at how Smith and Neil play and do what they do.

He had a chance to crush Kadri in open ice last night with Smith hedging him over and chose to attempt a pokecheck instead. It would have been a huge momentum builder but he missed the poke instead.

Losing Erik Karlsson alone is more significant than all their injuries combined. And for us losing Spezza and Anderson are hurts equally as the Karlsson loss.

Lol Carlyle. "We're not allowed to complain so I'm not gonna complain but really I'm complaining."

I was always hoping he'd line up Kadri/Kessel for a Hulk Smash.

31 games now with no goals for Smith. Good thing he can be effective when not scoring and was last night against Toronto.

Hoping he can score soon. I feel like once he breaks out of his slump he'll be scoring some more.
