Bunting - Matthews - Spezza
Ritchie - Tavares - Marner
Nylander - Kerfoot - Kase
Engvall - Kampf - Simmonds
Zeke, why is Matthews on the third line? Thins out that top 6 too much.

I hope Woll comes out like Dom Hasek tonight.

Kase has 2 goals in 2gms.

Last night came with Willy and Kerf.

The game before Kampf was on the ice but it was Kerfoot jumping off the ice that set him up.

I'm thinking Kase shouldn't be stapled to Kampf anymore.

And if we want depth...

Bunting - Matthews - Spezza
Ritchie - Tavares - Marner
Nylander - Kerfoot - Kase
Engvall - Kampf - Simmonds
I'd keep Nylander and Matthews together, but flipping Simmonds and Kase from their currebt spots would make that Spezza line much more dangerous and still keep an effective 4th line

Bunting - Matthews - Nylander
Kerfoot - Tavares - Nylander
Ritchie - Spezza - Kase
Engvall - Kampf - Simmonds

Maybe flip Bunting and Ritchie

Just switch Kase and Spezza and it is what I was thinking.

If you watched the Marlies, you would know why those numbers are actually respectable.

Yes those numbers make more sense after seeing this video. Marlies D were horrendous, and considering we havev2 up with us now it must have been coaching.

But booy I hope he’s worked on his rebound control.

The goal should be to get Spezza with Kase IMO so you give them some offensive threats to work with

In my scenario, I was just editing Zeke's lines

Bunting - Matthews - Kase
Ritchie - Tavares - Marner
Nylander - Kerfoot - Spezza
Engvall - Kampf - Simmonds

He had Spezza and Kase switched, and I think it left Matthews with not much firepower for a first line.

It's not typical to mess with a winning lineup, but I agree that the forward lines still need more tinkering. We're not playing to our potential offensively.

Ritchie-Matthews-Marner
Kerfoot-Tavares-Nylander
Bunting-Kampf-Kase
Engvall-Spezza-Simmonds

Note that last night for long stretches the lines were

Tavares - Matthews - Marner
Nylander - Kerfoot - Kase

And that helped us get the tying goal.

It was some nice tinkering by Keefe to help get us the win.

I actually think we should keep those lines until matthews gets going

I’ve been beating the drum of kerf-Willy 3rd line since the playoffs when they showed good chemistry. If the teams going to be based on elite talent, spread it out and run them into the ground with it.

lol @ people who think tavares-matthews-marner is the stack line.

Bunting-Kerfoot-Nylander is your no.1 line :sarcasm:
