Very weird to see Rielly's name not next to a boat anchor.

Last time I saw that was at the World Cup and World Championship, where he played with Parayko and Tanev, and he was the best Dman at that world cup.

Unless they make a trade I think he's the only forward we can send down, I don't see him staying up once Ennis is back.

It looked pretty good vs Washington before the break. If Marleau struggles we could always put Johnsson there

I'm glad Gardiner will be back soon. he's so underrated and underappreciated. Burns, Karlsson, Rielly, Carlson, and Roman Josi are the only defensemen with more 5v5 points than Gards since 2017. he's also #2 among defensemen in 5v5 goal differential. fans are going to miss him when he's gone

Marleau was utterly useless last game on this line.

I think Johnsson will move up the lineup to play on that line once he gets back up to speed back from his injury. Or at least I hope. Johnsson instead of Marleau would be exactly what that line needs.

I think its time to start gearing up for the playoffs. Get our lines in order and let them develop. You need then to be going by the time playoffs come around.

true, but he's better than Ennis (and most of our LWers), so he should really be on the team if they want the best possible lineup

Now this is interesting. Muzzin's big shot should be very interesting along with Gardiners passing abilities.

I think this is very smart, although Kapanen should be over Marleau I think... but Marleau is good when he's parked infront of the net for tips and garbage goals.

I like how it adds two completely different power play options. Can base the 2nd power play unit around points shots, tips, rebounds etc while the first unit looks for the nicer passing plays.

Johnsson won't stay on the 4th line........he should bump Marleau.
If it were up to me I'd have Johnsson and Moore as my top 2 left wingers..
And have Kadri,Brown and Hyman as a true shutdown 3rd line..
But none of that will happen with this coach..
