People need to settle down. Ryder and Lupul is a bit of a stretch. He's good, he has a good nose to the net, but settle. Let him develop. He'll probably need a full year in the AHL, and depending on what the team looks like next season, he might get his shot. But to compare him to 30 goal scorers already is a stretch.

The comparison is to their play style. It isn't saying he'll be a ppg player in the NHL

He's not that much of a sniper either way. He gets goals around the net. He doesn't have the best shot in the World, but its not the worst.

Been a PPG at the OHL and has 3 points his his recent 7 games with the Marlies.

A year or two in the AHL and he could jump up.

I see Leivo as a future replacement for the KIND of player Frattin was billed to be. Skating hard, good shot, goes to the net, provides energy.

I've really enjoyed watching him, throughout his junior career, and the little bit of pro he's played. We can only hope he can go down to the Marlies, and Spott plays him in key situations, to help bring that scoring touch along.
