Leafs add their much needed right handed D & add toughness with both Manson & Ritchie...
Manson is deemed untouchable by ducks fans. Value is fine though
Ducks are not going to trade Manson
Ducks won’t trade Mason em it Nylander likely ends up the best player in the deal long term.
Tough one because Willy could blow up and be a superstar on another team, but there's there not a whole lot of sense worrying about that if it makes your team better. I'd lean towards saying no but Manson is a tough young RHD and be a real nice replacement for Hainsey in the top 4.
Not a real fan of Ritchie really, but take Brown out of the lineup and plug Ritchie in? He'd give us a big sandpaper guy who can score 15-20 and throw his weight around, something we don't have and kinda need.
I voted yes, but if it seriously offered it would take a good deal of thought, (discussion with pro scouts, analytics, contracts and future contracts for Manson and Ritchie, etc).
Manson a nice 2nd pairing guy but hugely overrated by Leaf fans. We already have lots of 2nd pairing guys.
Would want Lindholm for Nylander
Leafs are a better team with this kind of trade. Nylander embarrassingly shied away from any physicality whatsoever in that Bruins series, Ritchie would at least bang and crash and help chip in. We've got the depth to replace Brown and of course we get Manson who bolsters a weak D.
Ducks wouldn't do this though,
Another Larson/Hall trade. WTF?
