I honestly don't know what to expect from this game. The Habs might be a little rusty but we might be a little tired. Our workload is starting to add up and it won't get better any time soon. We have only one, 2 day break in the next 2 weeks.

If I may...

Leafs get out to a multi goal lead early as the rusty Habs try to get their timing back. The refs see the inequity in the score and call penalties accordingly. The Leafs (who were already going to be tired anyway by the third) now their legs are rubber. Hold the lead and pray strategy ensues. JESUS ANOTHER HABS POWERPLAY?!?

Leafs hang on and barely get to OT on fumes. Both teams trade breakaways but with a minute to go Tavares is exhausted...wait no he is just skating normal speed nevermind. He tries to go for a change ....no..NO.... don't chan....

At least we got a point. Refs high-five in the room. "First star." "No you were."

People really don't like hutch ey. Playing Devils advocate here but his one good game this year he had a .919%, andersens best season with the leafs for the season was .918....

Hutch had some good starts 2 years ago with us. If he can be a capable backup even if a bit below a backup goalie level that's not bad for our 3rd goalie on the roster...

Michael Hutchinson: 21 games with the Leafs and a 0.89 save percentage, not good at all but man he played some horrible situation games. Not a big deal he may have to play one or two more games this season and that's that, barring another injury.

Lets get a better effort than last time.
We will. Its meaningful games that get us going

No one wants to say it; but we struggled finding a reason to bury the lowly sens....
Theres a reason to look good against the habs, keep pushing those pretenders down the standings and hopefully for our sake a 1st round matchup

This is a game that the Leafs should lose. Coming off short rest 3rd game in 4 nights on the road with a rested Habs team who has had a full week of practice and rest. We need to play our A+++ game to have a shot and can't just rely on talent. Habs stole the last game on a couple of flukey bounces so hopefully things even out a bit tomorrow. Just put in an honest effort and let the chips fall where they may.

I hope they put some energy guys into the lineup. Sabourin would be nice.

You can make that case, you can also make a case for a rusty habs team

Amazing, we can make a case for a rusty Habs team that hasn't played in 5 days, but a goalie that hasn't played since last year gets none even though he played fairly well and got a win. lol!
Probably because he sucked when he played last year as well. He got the win but he didn’t play well.

That goalie is arguably the worst Leafs backup in 20 years maybe even before that.

The two are not the same

last year was last year, overall his stats are not that bad. He's even won playoff games.
He looked like the same goalie Thursday as last year. Is he the confirmed starter tonight?

I love Toronto vs Montreal arch rivalry and hatred games on HNIC Saturday night.

Original 6 games are always special for me, and with this pandemic it has forced original 6 like opposition again.

Nothing feels better then beating the Habs, which makes for a great weekend.
