Leafs don't get better with this deal at all. They will hang onto Kap and hope to get a deal for a defensive minded top 4 D with some term and then decide what to do from there.

Flyers get Kapanen, who they covet as well as Barrie who can take RD on the power play.

Leafs get Myers as a long term solution at RHD. Gostisbehere I think would thrive in Toronto as well.

I'd love Myers but Ghost isn't what's needed at all on Leafs D. Already stocked w offensive /puck moving left d. Doubt Flyers do Kapanen /Myers as giant promising good skating right d usually don't get traded. Kap has good value but not this level. I'd rather have Barrie then Ghost all told.

Get it correct. Flyers fans trash Hagg not Myers. Myers is a top 4 D and why they say no for Kapanen. Amount of points Barrie puts up for Leafs in 20/21? That would be zero when he walks.

Once again to some leaf fans, the Flyers aren't trading Myers and they don't want Barrie. If you want Gostisbehere then that trade is possible. If Barrie was that good then why would the Leafs trade him. The Flyers don't want him. If you want to trade Kapanen for Ghost then sure.

Let's switch things, if the Leafs had Ghost and Myers (their only RHD going forward) and the Flyers had Kapanen and Barrie, would you make that trade if you were the Leafs.
