Your neighbor isn't trying to rip you off. He's telling you the price that he's willing to sell for. Your premise is dumb, considering that this isn't a discussion about a product with a set market value. However, if the Leafs manage to find a commercial Montour dealership, I don't think a single one of us would mind you going to that place to pester them about their prices.

He's not trying to rip you off. He's trying to justify selling an item he doesn't want to sell. You're looking at this from a purely selfish view. He's not in any way obligated to sell you something at fair value, simply because you want it.

If hes trying to get 50% more value than a product is worth, thats not being ripped off?
