This team was built to contend with a run and gun offense and the blueline was looking impressive with two 50 point defenders and a solid shutdown ability.

They have lots of expiring talent in JVR, Bozak and Komarov hitting the UFA Market and some big name RFA's coming up in Matthews, Nylander & Marner.

Do they keep drafting and developing or make a change in the head coach spot?

In before the lock. Mods are gonna be working full time if this series goes to seven games.

You realize tho that’s weighed down by Marleau and a few other old dogs, the core of the team is like 25 lol

You know every other team can say their teams average age is weighed by old players too right ?

Nothing, continue building and maturing. Why are people suddenly acting like this is a grizzled veteran Leafs team that needs to perform in the playoffs right away?

Leafs fans want a series win, what fanbase wouldn't? but deep down we all know that it could very well likely be a 1st round exit again. Considering where we were just 2-3 years ago its not the end of the world...I mean we could be the Oilers/Sabres/Habs but we're not.

Experience is key, I fully believe the Leafs will make a respectable playoff run, it may not be this year or even next year but its certainly in the cards with this team we have in place.

Our best players are barely old enough to drink, not much needs to be done, either way. Unfortunately for the haters, this group isn't going away for a long time.
