On Wednesday night hockey he just said this. He said all chips are on the table.

So... Who is the best forward they could get? A 3rd team could be used to make the cap work.

But in all seriousness Dubas likes to surprise us with his trades and who he trades for.

It'll probably be a name no one has thought of.

Leafs 10000% should be all in. This is their easiest path to the final four they are gonna get any time soon.

OK Timo Meier is probably not available, but if you ask Sharks fans, he has worn out his welcome.

And as mentioned, his contract is a little ugly. Meier is just not a good fit on the Sharks.

Why would the Sharks trade one of their young players?

And what would be the cost? Youd need to eat 50% right away to make anything happen.

Because once his contract is up, they have to pony up $8 mil to qualify him and that's not happening the way he's playing right now. They're just trying to pawn him off. And before I get jumped for it, yes, I know that Meier is still a good player but not worth an $8 mil qualifier.

Expect classic trading partners like the ducks or kings methinks. Ioffallo or silf are my bets on targets

2nd + B prospect most likely or a conditional first round pick based on how far they go.

"all in for the best forward they can get" is a really strange statement.

Either they are all in, or they will just get the best forward they can get.

Like best forward they can get with a 2nd round pick?
    or
Hey we want the best guy available, we will pay whatever it takes. But then a lot of guys become available if you're willing to trade multiple 1sts and your best prospects.

Off the wall thought- all in includes pre paying Seattle to not draft someone surprising with term/control.

Rakell? Garland? Could the Kempe rumour have legs?

Nick Foligno and David Savard would give them a couple playoff style players.
