Can you tell us more about how he plays?

He is listed as an elite skater and passer and has a high hockey IQ but frankly with his skillset he should be dominating more offensively IMO and he is still slight at 161 lbs but has grown to 5'11"

He is ranked 134th among NA skaters but I expect him to go anytime 3rd round or later as a long term project.

I definitely see him as a mid-round pick but like you said he is a great skater and possesses good vision. I think the offense he produced was fine although it concerns me a little that he improved little on his pro-rated offensive output from last season.

Either way, he had the best u-18 season for a defender since Jonny Tychonick who was a second-rounder by Ottawa in 2018.

Played full-time role with Wisconsin as a freshman in 2022-23. How has his role changed with so many new D and is his development still on track?

The Badgers are one of the most improved teams in college hockey.

5 assists in his first 4 games. Also had a crazy shift in OT last night against the Chiefs.

Good height at 6'1 but only weighs ~162lb. May need a longer runway to fill out that frame but looking good so far.

So he's off to a good start in Portland. With him being nineteen, might Seattle be patient with him and let him play in Portland next season or do you all expect he'll be going to the AHL next season?
