Finished the regular season in the SHL with 42 GP - 2 goals - 11 assists - 13 points - +1

Not bad for a rookie in that league. From most of the games I saw this season he wasn't getting any powerplay time, either.

I think his upside is tremendous. Hakan said that of all players we drafted last year he could end up being the best one. 1+1 in the SHL yesterday in only 13:13 of ice time. Made the game interesting almost single-handedly.

Isn't he the son of Roger Johansson?
- 3 time Elitserien champion, Olympic gold medalist, former NHL:er

He is.

I know the knock on Johansson is size, but his father and 2 brothers who play in Sweden are all 6'2"+. This kid has tremendous upside. I'd like to see him running the PP on his SHL team this year. His passing and skating skills are phenomenal.

Hard for young guys to produce in that league and deifnitely hard to produce with that little ice time. Hopefully he starts playing more
