Press conference in an hour, @DNFlyers says Lavy's fired and Berube takes over.
Being widely reported by Baicker, Panotch and Carchidi. Right decision after last night, in truth it should have happened in the offseason. He was never going to get it back. They are unsure if Berube is going to be interim or not
Will Berube be any better?
Couldn't have done that in the offseason, oh no ...
Probably not. But now they can start looking for a real coach to take over.
Incredibly bad handled, this situation. Should've been done in May.
Coworker just came by and informed me.
I hope it is interim,if this not work easier to get new guy in from outside.
But lets give the Indian Chief a chance.
Lavy needed to go,period.
Pretty gutsy move by Homer to go with Berube here over Terry Murray. If we don't make the playoffs he's as good as gone.
I'm hoping just a change will wake these guys up.
Berube will be more of the same...having said this glad they finally canned this clown and Holmgren fixed another of his own mistakes...
This sounds like the work of the old man.
I think that's about all we can hope firing the immediate future.
Players will also get a jump for about 2 weeks after a coaching change, we'll have to see if old habits come back.
The firing should have happened in the offseason, but right now I'm happy as a pig in ****!
So, what kind of a coach Berube is? I have to admit that I know next to nothing about him..
