I believe it was @MarkovsKnee idea in the past. Now that we are almost there, I thought maybe we could do a quick 3 Round Mock. More people may be interested, and things may have changed since the last mock. Post below if interested, and if there aren't enough people or doesn't work, maybe we can close this. This is just an idea!

Yup, I'll check to see how many people are joining first. I'll combine the teams with little to no picks like the Flames.

Yes, I suggested this type of draft during the early mock.

One thing I was going to do was even up the picks. For instance, Detroit & NYR both have 7 picks. Montreal has 6, so whoever has those teams have their teams.

However, there are a few teams with only 1 pick through 3 rounds, so I was going to match those to teams that have 2-4 picks so everyone has a minimum of 4 picks through 3 rounds, including at least one 1st rd pick.

One person might get assigned LAK & TB in that scenario, which would give them a 1st rder & a total of 5 picks.

Not sure how many teams that'll leave but it'll be significantly less than 31.

Also, Calgary has no picks at all in the first 3 rounds. (Nice. Miss play-offs & no picks in a deep draft)

Anyway I'm in. I'm good if you want to run it. I can help out if you want.

Awesome. It's was your idea, so feel free to take over. I just wasn't sure if we were doing it still.

Ok so I'm going to combine the following teams(Calgary will be exempt since no picks in first 3 rounds):
1) Buffalo/Nashville
2) Ottawa/Vegas
3) Florida/Winnipeg
4) Tampa/Devils
5) San Jose/Pittsburgh
6) Carolina/Boston

I tried to aim around 3 picks per team at the minimum

I think the only team left with only two picks is Carolina - I'd match them with San Jose (or give one of the 3rds from Pitt/Bos) that way they get 3 and Pitt/Bos has 4 instead of 5.

These are the teams I devised. It gives everyone a pick in every round & a minimum of 5 picks over 3 rounds. Only 17 players needed.

1. NYR - 7
2. Detroit - 7
3. Montreal - 6
4. LAK/Carolina/Nashville - 6
5. NYI - 5
6. Arizona - 5
7. Chicago/Vegas - 5
8. TB/Dallas - 5
9. Anaheim/SJ - 5
10. Colorado/NJ - 5
11. Philadelphia/Columbus - 5
12. St. L/Winnipeg - 5
13. Minnesota/Buff - 5
14. Pittsburgh/Vanc - 5
15. Boston/Edm - 5
16. Ott/Washington - 5
17. Fla/Toronto - 5

I'm working today so I'll be in and out, but how many people are in, right now?
