Who would be the top 10 defensemen in last years draft?

How does last years draft compare with other years as far as defensemen go?

The 2004 draft is supposed to be pretty deep when it comes to d-men. No killer threesome like last year, but still lots of good talent.

That's a tough one, there's a lot of quality defensemen from last years draft.

    Phaneuf
    Suter
    Stuart
    Carle
    Coburn
    Kosmachev
    Seabrooke
    Klein
    Ramholt
    Michal Barinka
    Shea Weber
    Shawn Belle
    Stehlik
    Richmond
    Smaby
    Ivan Baranka
    Bruno Gervais
    Jim Sharrow

Something like that, but it's a lose order didn't put too much thought in it. Carle really impressed me this year, Phaneuf should be a great one, Suter, the Barinka's, Gervais I like a lot and Smaby was good in the few times I saw him.

I would think this is one of the better years for defensemen, but this draft coming up is the year of the big defensemen. Valabik, Rogers, Carson, Schultz, Lyamin, Thelen, O'Neil, Barker, Wharton, Borer all got size.
