For Denver it would make sense. Early in the season most players aren't ready for a full game conditioning wise. It used to be that players played 1 series or 2 in game 1 of PS, then about 1 QTR in game 2, then into Q3 in game 3 and rested in game 4.I meant when Denver starts the season with back to back home games, their record is absurd.
So, playing in the thin air puts the opposing Defense at a disadvantage and if their Offense doesn't click, that exposes the D. Same with the teams in humid climates.
