IMO, their veteran presence would've helped Boeser, Pettersson, and their younger prospects develop properly in the long run.

And this trade would've occurred during the 2017 off-season after Hainsey won his 1st cup.

Also, the Twins would've helped the Penguins win a cup or 2.

It was never a possibility but if the Sedin's were in their prime, they would have been absolutely dominant with Crosby. In the history of hockey I don't think there was a better duo at cycling the puck then the Sedin's were. Throw Crosby in that mix and the opposing team would never get the puck out of their zone. Just look what they were able to do with Burrows on their line.
